Hello and welcome back!  Duncan here, your Nature and Forest Therapy Guide for this program.  Thank you for returning so that we can continue to experience the natural world using our traditional 5 senses.  You’ve completed two sessions so far with the featured senses of first sight and then hearing.  Congratulations you’re on your way of achieving our goal of completing 5 sessions over the course of five weeks.  Today, we’ll deepen our practice as we continue to develop our relationship to the natural world.  Like with any other relationship, it takes time, patience a willingness and an openness to create and cultivate.  By carving out this time from your schedule to be here now, you are giving yourself an opportunity to get to know nature with all of it’s wondrous subtitles and intricacies.  So thank you for having the discipline to delve deeper into this practice rooted in shinrin-yoku which is translated as “forest bathing” or “taking in the atmosphere of the forest”.  This week, we focus in on our sense of touch.
